HIMA H51Q-HS-B5233 is a modular safety system designed for high-availability applications in the process industry. It is TÜV-certified for SIL 3 and PL e, and can be used in a wide range of applications, including safety instrumented systems (SIS), burner management systems (BMS), and emergency shutdown systems (ESD).

The H51Q-HS-B5233 system is comprised of three main components:

• A central rack, which houses the power supply, communication modules, and central processing units (CPUs).
• I/O racks, which are connected to the central rack via a high-speed data bus and house the input and output modules.
• Remote I/O stations, which are connected to the I/O racks via a redundant Ethernet network and provide additional input and output points.
