The DS200ACNAG1 Mark V printed circuit board functions as an ARCNET connection PCB. The unit was originally designed as part of the LM series, which is part of the Mark V Speedtronic series from General Electric. This series has been used for many years for the control and management of industrial turbine systems.

The DS200ACNAG1 allows for interfacing between externally placed modules or I/O cores with the <R> Control Engine. The board is used to interface these units with ARCNET communications protocols. This board is used in conjunction with a UCPB board that contains a 486DX processor/CPU and a UCIA motherboard that contains a 196 processor chip. This chip is used to translate pressure transducer signals.

The GE Attached Resource Computer Network (ARCNET) Board DS200ACNAG1 uses the Attached Resource Computer Network (ARCNET) protocol for LAN communications. It features two connectors for LAN communications and one 6-pin connector. Any board you add or replace in the drive must be treated with care to prevent static from harming the board or the drive before you install it. Static can build up on your body and on the board. It can build up if you walk around with the board if it isn’t in the static protective bag in which you received the board. This is especially the case in cool and dry weather. The best protection is to leave the board in the box until you need it and don’t open the bag unless necessary.
