The GE TURBINE IS230TRLYH1B Thermocouple is a PTCC Thermocouple Input Pack for the Mark VIe Turbine Control System. It is used to measure the temperature of various points in the turbine engine, such as the exhaust gas, compressor inlet, and combustor outlet.
The IS230TRLYH1B is a high-precision thermocouple input module that offers a maximum software error/conformity error of 0.25 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a common mode voltage of +/- 5 volts with AC common-mode rejection of 100dB @50/60Hz. The unit also includes normal mode rejection of 250 mV RMS @ 50/60 Hz (+/-5%) and high/low hardware and software limit checks. The IS230TRLYH1B is designed for operation in ambient conditions from -22 to +149 degrees Fahrenheit.
The IS230TRLYH1B is a modular unit that can be easily installed and removed from the Mark VIe control system. It is also hot-swappable, so it can be replaced without having to shut down the turbine.
