NI PXI-4498 PXI sound and vibration module Guaranteed Quality

In stock

PXI-4498 is designed specifically for high channel count sound and vibration applications. Based on 24 bit analog input and IEPE constant current signal conditioning, PXI-4498 is very suitable for precise measurement in conjunction with microphones, accelerometers, and other sensors with a large dynamic range. PXI-4498 can perform synchronous sampling on all channels. In addition, PXI-4498 includes built-in anti aliasing filters that can be automatically adjusted according to the sampling rate, up to 30 dB of software optional input gain, and TEDS smart sensor support to ensure proper installation and configuration. \Common applications include noise, vibration, and acoustic vibration roughness (NVH) analysis, large-scale microphone arrays, and dynamic structural testing.

The National Instruments PXI-4498 is a 100 MHz, 1-channel, 12-bit PXI waveform generator. It can generate sine waves, square waves, triangle waves, ramps, and DC levels, as well as arbitrary waveforms. It can also be used to generate clock signals and trigger signals.

product description:

The National Instruments PXI-4498 is a high-performance, multi-channel sound and vibration module designed for PXI systems. It’s known for its:

Key Features:

  • 16 analog input channels: ideal for capturing multiple sound or vibration signals simultaneously.
  • High sampling rate: 204.8 kS/s per channel, suitable for capturing fast-changing signals.
  • Wide dynamic range: 114 dB, ensuring accurate measurements even for very quiet or very loud signals.
  • 4 gain settings: provides flexibility for adapting to different signal amplitudes.
  • AC/DC coupling: allows you to measure both AC and DC signals.
  • 0.5 Hz AC coupling: eliminates low-frequency noise for cleaner measurements.
  • IEPE constant current excitation: ideal for powering and measuring piezoelectric transducers (such as accelerometers and microphones)
  • What is data acquisition?
The purpose of data acquisition is to measure an electrical or physical quantity, such as voltage, current, temperature, pressure, or sound. Number based on PC
Through the combination of hardware and software and computer, the data acquisition realizes the automation of measurement and provides analyzable data.
