MP825A5R is EMERSON’s 625 HP, 575 V DC driver. It is part of the Mentor MP series, which is designed for both existing and new DC motors.
The MP825A5R has three optional module slots for automation control, I/O, feedback devices, and communication. It also includes smart cards for PLC programs and parameter storage, as well as software tools for easy configuration and monitoring.
The driver is designed with reliability and performance, and there is current isolation between the power supply and control circuit to protect the control circuit and other devices from the influence of high voltage. It also has a protection system for low-quality industrial power supplies and lightning strikes, as well as integrated drive and motor protection.
