The GE IS220PAICH2A is an Analog I/O Pack that is part of the Mark VIe Speedtronic control system by General Electric.
It functions as an electrical interface that connects one or two I/O Ethernet networks to an analog input terminal board.
The PAIC (Process Analog Input Card) includes a BPPx processor board and an acquisition board dedicated to analog I/O functions. The module has features including:
Ten analog inputs:
1. The first eight can be set to 5 V, 10 V or 4-20 mA current loop inputs.
2. The final two can be set to 1 mA or 4-20 mA current inputs.
3. Two current loop outputs ranging from 0 to 20 mA.
4. Additional hardware that allows for 0-200 mA current on the first output only.
5. Dual RJ-45 Ethernet connectors for receiving and sending data to the controller.
6. Three-pin connector for power.
7. DC-37 pin connector for communicating with field devices via the terminal board.
8. LED indicator lights for visual diagnostics.
