The PM856K01 EXC3BSE018104R1 modular bus optical port is the communication interface between CI801 or CI840/CI840A FCI and tb820/tb820 v2/tb840/tb840. The modular bus is connected to a data machine in an I/O cluster or ABB drive through a fiber optic modular bus. Connect to CI801 via TB806, CI840/CI840A via TU847, TB806 via TU846 (for individual I/O) or TB846 via tu 846 (for redundant I/O).
It can be used for both simple optical configurations and double-sided optical configurations. In a simple configuration, the fiber module bus nodes are connected in a circular manner. In a duplex configuration, the fiber module bus nodes are connected in a row. TB842 has fiber optic connectors and communication interface module connections.
This module is equipped with a 10 mbit transmitter/receiver. Both plastic and hard silicon (HCS) optical fibers can be used in conjunction with PM856K01 EXC3BSE018104R1.
The module bus must have the same type of transmitter/receiver on each node.
