1747-SDN /D Communication scanner module
ALLEN BRADLEY 1747-SDN /D is a communication scanner module for the DeviceNet network, the main function of which is to communicate with DeviceNet compatible devices via the DeviceNet network or DeviceNet adapter module. The module can run in slave mode and supports sending and receiving messages in polling, flashing, status change, and periodic I/O configurations.
Specifically, the 1747-SDN /D module Bridges DeviceNet networks with other networks to support integration with SLC 500 series systems such as SLC 5/02 or later. The module is capable of connecting up to 63 DeviceNet compatible I/O devices and functions as a DeviceNet master device for data transfer with the slave device through flashing and polling message modes.
In addition, the 1747-SDN /D module contains several firmware enhancements such as embedded EDS files and AutoScan. It supports the use of multiple scanners in a single processor rack to extend device control capabilities.
In terms of technical parameters, the module has an operating voltage range of 5-24 VDC and an operating current range of 90-500 mA.
