1.3300XL 25mm probe for collecting differential expansion displacement signals
2.3300XL 25mm extension cable transmits the signal collected by the probe to the input end of the preamplifier.
3.3300XL 25mm Proximitor One – Receive signals from probes and extension cables, process them, and transmit them to the 3500 protection system to provide the working voltage of the probes. System length: 5 meters or 9 meters (the sum of probe length and extension cable length is equal to the length of the Proximitor)
The 3300XL25mm sensing system is used to measure the differential expansion (DE) caused by the different expansion rates of the turbine rotor and machine stator (shell) in medium to large steam turbine generators
Differential expansion measurement
Differential expansion measurement is achieved by two eddy current sensors, which measure the flange or inclined surface at a certain distance from the thrust bearing. Typical sensor installation methods include
Two sensors measure the same side of the flange * Two compensating input sensors measure the opposite side of the flange, effectively doubling the measurable DE range * At least one of the two sensors measures one slope of the rotor. Another sensor measures different positions on an independent slope or rotor to compensate for radial movement. This installation method may introduce some errors in measurement, but it can measure a longer total DE distance than compensatory measurement.
Application suggestions:
This system is designed for displacement or vibration measurement in the frequency range of 0-8KHZ. Typical applications include radial vibration and displacement, axial displacement, and key phase measurement
