The controller IC670ALG230 is another UCSB controller produced by General Electric for the Mark VIe series. This controller is described as capable of operating on the EX2100e, LS2100e, and Mark VIe series on the 1066 MHz EP80579 Intel processor. The EP80579 processor is used to assist applications that require high reliability and speed. Except for the processors mentioned above, this model is similar to previous UCSB controllers, with all controllers using the same processor type but operating on different MHz.
The IC670ALG230 controller is similar to the UCSC controller in the Mark VIe series. The difference between the two sets of controllers is in hardware, but they have some similarities in controller advantages. Some advantages of this controller are that it is a single module and has flash memory, which can be easily updated according to user needs. The required location and certification for operating this controller are the same as previous models. The controller can be used in hazardous and non hazardous locations and is certified to UL E207685 and UL Demco 12 ATEX 1114875X.
