HIMA F3335 is a redundant, fault-tolerant safety instrumented system (SIS) for process automation applications. It complies with the IEC 61508 standard for functional safety of electrical/electronic/programmable electronic safety-related systems (E/E/PES) and is certified for use in SIL 2 and SIL 3 applications.
The HIMA F3335 system consists of two independent F3335 safety controllers and a redundant communication network. The controllers are designed to be hot-swappable, so that a failed controller can be replaced without shutting down the system.
