HIMA F6214 Digital Processing Control Module
The control system needs to establish input and output channels for signals, which are I/O. In DCS, I/O is generally modular, with one or more I/O channels on each I/O module used to connect sensors and actuators (regulating valves). The commonly used I/O signals are generally divided into AI, PI, AO, DI, and DO. The HF6214 system of HIMA adopts a CPU quadruple structure (QMR), which means that the central control unit of the system has a total of four microprocessors. Each two microprocessors are integrated on a CU module, and then two identical CU modules form a redundant central control unit. HIMA’s 1oo2D structural products have already obtained AK6/SIL3 safety certification. The purpose of adopting a dual 1oo2D structure, i.e. a 2oo4D structure, is to provide users with great practicality (availability). Its fault tolerance function ensures that any component in the system malfunctions without affecting the normal operation of the system. Compared with the traditional triple structure, its fault tolerance function is more complete. At present, the quadruple structure of SIS has become the mainstream trend for professional manufacturers to develop new systems.
The F6214 system has a modular structure, with the central rack section consisting of a central unit, communication module, and power module. Each 51q system can expand 16 I/O subracks, and each I/O subrack can accommodate 16 I/O modules.
