PXI-7854 has a user programmable FPGA that can be used for high-performance onboard processing and direct control of I/O signals to ensure complete flexibility in system timing and synchronization. You can use LabVIEW FPGA modules to customize these devices and develop applications that require precise timing and control, such as hardware in the loop testing, custom protocol communication, sensor simulation, and high-speed control. PXI-7854has a dedicated analog-to-digital converter (ADC) per channel for independent timing and triggering. This design provides various specialized functions that typical data acquisition hardware does not possess, such as multi rate sampling and single channel triggering.
