PXIe-4492 is designed specifically for sound and vibration applications. This module has a 24 bit analog input and IEPE constant current signal conditioning, suitable for precise measurement in combination with microphones, accelerometers, and other sensors with a large dynamic range. PXIe-4492 can perform synchronous sampling on all channels. In addition, the module includes a built-in anti aliasing filter that can automatically adjust to the sampling rate, six software selectable input gain ranges, and TEDS intelligent sensor support that helps ensure correct and safe configuration. \Common applications include noise, vibration, and acoustic vibration roughness (NVH) analysis, large microphone arrays, and dynamic structural testing.

The National Instruments PXIe-4492 is an 8-channel, 24-bit, 204.8 kS/s PXI sound and vibration module designed for making precision measurements with microphones, accelerometers, and other transducers that have very large dynamic ranges.

It features:

High-resolution, 24-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) for accurate signal capture
Wide dynamic range of 113 dB for measuring a wide range of signal levels
Two selectable input gains for optimizing signal levels for different transducers
0.5 Hz AC/DC coupling for measuring both AC and DC signals
Built-in anti-aliasing filters to prevent signal distortion at high sampling rates
Software-selectable input filters for further signal conditioning
TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) support for automatic sensor configuration
Synchronous sampling on all channels for accurate phase measurements

The PXIe-4492 is ideal for a variety of sound and vibration applications, including:
